Apple iPod touch 5

Still in the box

Out of the box

-it's so pretty isn't it?

Well I finally received my new iPod touch 5!
I tried looking everywhere even the apple store but they sold out so fast and yes it did come out a week earlier which I never knew but that's o.k. I finally got it from the online site of Walmart yesterday.
One thing for sure the apple store was no help to me their customer service sucks! They only had one model left it was the 64 gb in yellow, no thank you.
I really wanted in in pink. And paying over $300 was as high I was going to spend. I actually sold my iPod touch 4 so that helped quite a Lott.
I was so excited I was up all night till 1:00 am downloading music....
I cannot believe the camera is so amazing it has a flash for shooting pictures at night. And it's so thin and light. And the picture quality is excellent much bigger than the older model. My only complain is "I really need a case" I am so anal with all my electronics I don't want it to get scratched. I already know what cover I want it's a clear hard case so you can see the prettiness of the pink.

Good news!

My cat does not have cancer...

The huge lump that was on my cat eventually went away I am so happy and relieved.
I really never found out what it was but it sure worried me to death. This cat sleeps, eats and is just my best friend. I have never owned a cat that remains so loyal to me he follows me everywhere and fetches toys like a dog and is so smart. My cat stalks dogs when they pass our home it really frightens other people when they walk they're dogs. He doesn't bother our dog though. He's so affectionate and just really the best cat in the world!
I don't know what I would do if anything happened to him...
So when this ugly huge bump appeared I was thinking the worse. My cat is back to his feisty self...

Huge lump on my cat...

I feel so bad my conscience is killing me a little. I found this huge lump on my cats right leg on Friday and I have no idea what it is. I've gone on the net to see if other people have had this same problem and i really haven't found out much. I thought maybe it was a black widow bite or some kind of bug bite. It feels like its filled with fluid. My husband decided to try to pierce it with a needle but its skin was too thick and my cat kind of cried. My cat is showing no signs of illness he's still the ornery cat that he always is... I think I will wait and see a couple more days...and decide to visit the vet. My sister said she took her cat to the vet because it had an ear infection and that visit cost her $300
I really don't need that right now...

Real-life-hero-man-saves-six-year-old-girl-from-kidnapper

With all of the horrifying news this summer, from the senseless murder of Caylee Anthony to the unfathomable Leiby Kletzky abduction and murder, we’re all hugging our kids that much tighter – and we’re beginning to lose our faith in humanity during those lie-awake-at-night moments. But this chilling story about a man who saves his six-year-old neighbor from her deranged kidnapper makes me believe once again that there are good people out there (or, in this case, true heroes).
Albuquerque, New Mexico dad Antonio Diaz Chacon was doing laundry at a relative’s home down the street from his own house when he saw a girl being thrown into a van. Another neighbor yelled out, “Let the child go!” but it was too late. Instinctively, Diaz Chacon hopped into his pickup truck and chased the van for 15 minutes through a series of neighborhoods until the van crashed into a pole. The driver fled on foot while Diaz Chacon, 24, ran to the little girl and took her home, reports Newser.
“I knew I had to catch him. I had to get the girl back from him and take her home, back where she belongs,” he told Associated Press. He said he had no fear until he saw the driver emerge for the van. “When he got down I was thinking, what if he has a gun?” Diaz Chacon says he thought of his own two girls (a seven-year-old and five-month-old) and how he would want someone to do the same for him. While all this action was happening, the girl’s 12-year-old sister frantically called 911 to report her little sister missing (Diaz Chacon’s wife did the same).
The abductor, Phillip Garcia, 29, eventually returned to his wrecked van and drove away, but was later captured by police.
Police reportedly found packing tape and a tie-down strap 25 feet from the van. And inside the van they discovered a glove, Leatherman tool, black satchel and an orange strapping similar to the strap found hidden under the rock. As police Sgt. Tricia Hoffman said, “This little girl was very lucky. We can only guess what would have happened to this child.”

11 year old girl who sets things on fire with her mind

I guess some movies are true especially when we have a true life documented story about this 11 year old girl who sets things on fire with her mind. I was just thinking I would hate to make enemy's with her.
Here's the story:

"The case of an 11-year-old girl in HCM City's Tan Binh District claimed to have supernatural fire- starting powers is continuing to baffle scientists. The girl, whose family claims she has an unusual mental power that can cause objects to burst into flames, has drawn a great deal of attention from the Vietnamese media. The girl's father said he first became aware of that his child was unusual when the family home's electrical network suffered several short circuits, about a month ago. Electricians were called to fix the short circuit but could not find the cause behind the power failures. He said the girl was taken to other houses where the same phenomenon took place each time. Her mattresses, fans and other equipment have burst into flames. The hotel room where her family stayed two weeks ago during their holiday on Vung Tau beach also suffered burns from a blaze. The family then realised that objects were burnt when the girl approached them, although her body did not radiate any electric sparks, said her father. The girl has been examined by doctors at Cho Ray Hospital and the Children's Hospital No. 2 but nothing abnormal has been found. But a team of scientists from the Centre of Research and Application for Radio-active Geo- biological Energy at Hong Bang University has also carried out tests on the girl and confirmed that she is unusual. Prof. Nguyen Manh Hung, director of the university, said that the girl is capable of burning things arround her.

"The house that was not at rest"

The house that was not at rest...

My husband and myself were trying to reconcile our differences after being separated for a while.I was living in Arizona at the time. My husband relocated from down the hill from Fullerton Ca. to Victorville Ca. in the high desert. So we decided to try it again. I moved back with him. Of course this was not my ideal place of choice to reside but he had landed this great job that he could not pass down. His boss who was the owner of the business offered him his house to rent which was now unoccupied because him and his wife were now going to get a divorce. The rent was so low it was unbelievable especially for such a large house on 1and half acre or land. The only thing we had to do was storage some of their belongings for a while. Which was very minimal.

Within a small time I became pregnant with our first child. I got a job as a teacher close to home. While my husband was pretty much married to his job.

I decided one day to start a garden in the back yard we had plenty of room on this big piece of land. As I was digging my garden up I unearthed some strange pieces of papers. Come to find out these papers had satanic signs on them. That kind of scared me. I threw the papers away and tried to put it out of my mind.

One night alone in my bedroom I heard a really loud sound at my window which sounded like a gun shot. It really startled me so. My husband rushed outside to see what it was but came to no conclusions. The next day we investigated and found a large clear imprint of a bird on the window, but there was no bird to be found...

As time progressed things became to get much stranger.

I had a an old dresser which was handed down to me from my mother and handed down from her mother and so on it was pretty old and since my grandmother is past it is very sentimental to me and valuable.
strange thing is every morning at 4:00 A.M. the dresser would creak like someone or something was opening and closing it. My husband would say that it was just old wood settling. Strange was that in the past I never heard unusual noises coming from that piece of furniture.

Something was just not right about the house. I just couldn't put my finger on it. I always felt like I was being watched by someone knowing no one was there. My husband didn't worry too much when he was gone. The house came with top of the notch alarm system. Even though the house was isolated from neighbors. If anything did happen my husband was just minutes away. I never felt comfortable being on my own which was most of the time, due to my husband being absent because of his job.

When the old tenants left they also left two dogs which we happily took good care of. Strange thing was they both had the fear of coming in the house but we took no notice. Adventually one of the dogs died due to old age. So we decided to get a dog of our own.

We came to find out that the house we lived in was commercial land. So it was also used for small businesses. One of the businesses was held as a place where they held cars that were being used for funerals and limos which included hearses. Did this have something to do with what's been happening? Somehow I really didn't think so.

The noises continued as usual...

One day some religious people came by our home and I shared some of the things that were happening and they advised me to do a cleansing which consisted of riding of anything that I may have had that had any kind of negativity attached to it like horror movies or books. They even mentioned that my angel statues could hold some kind of spirituality. At this point I was willing to do anything that would bring peace to my home.
After cleansing my home nothing changed. ..

One particular day my husband didn't have to be into work till later. So as we were having our morning coffee. We both witnessed first hand something that was meant to get our full attention.... A little girls voice very loudly and clearly saying "mommy where are you mommy? I cant find you, I cant find you mommy" We both looked at each other in total shock. ,My husband ran out of the house thinking he was going to find someone outside to find no one. Remember, we're in the desert with no neihbors near or passerby's.
I felt so disturbed by this even to this day it gives me the chills.

The monthly visit to the prenatal doctor for my exam was here again. My husband accompanied me this time. This was his first time I was so excited so he could share with me this special moment on our baby's development. The first heartbeat and ultrasound he was excited also Im sure. Then something happened that was so unexpected....
Something was wrong the nurse could not get the baby to move, I thought maybe it was asleep. The dr. then came in and examined. No heartbeat, could this really be happening? The doctor expressed his deep expression of sorrow. Our baby was dead.
I thought myself in this nightmare and I couldn't wake up.

Could this voice of this little girl that we heard in our home be a message?
I will never know.

We left the home in the later months. Who knows if other tenants were bothered by this house as we were. We never ever felt uncomfortable in any other home after or before. And also my dresser never did creak anymore...

A girl's first love....

I remember wearing my first mini skirt in the first year of high school and my whole life changed.....

Was it the skirt? Or was it that finally they took notice of the plain Jane ordinary, shy, innocent, conscience minded girl....

She became popular over night every boy wanted to know her.
Every girl hated her.
It's not like she had many friends to begin with.

She was so tired of hiding in the back corner. She never ever wanted to attract attention to herself.

This was her year to shine....

The beginning of a new school year.
A new chance to finally climb out of her shell.

Once I walked on those school grounds I had every boy eating out of the palm of my hands.
They all wanted my number....

Flirted oh yeah I learned it well...
Why not, if I was going to the top why not rise high fast....

And then that fateful morning....

I remember it so well that morning when I walked down to the stairs to go to a class,
I wore it like a glove....There he was like a prince that he was he was one of the popular boys already. He was a Senior tall handsome just plain gorgeous! Light brown hair the most beautiful sexy green eyes. He was also the schools photographer.

And he wanted me, yes he was attracted to me....Can you believe it?

Oh if only I knew then what I know now...

I was so pathetic... Why couldn't I had played a little hard to get? Inside I was screaming...I was shaking, I knew my face was red it felt so hot...

And I knew it right then I was in love....

We were unsepratable from that moment on. I was always wondering where he was at, what was he doing? when he wasn't with me. Yes I was very needy like any young girl my age who has had her first real experience with love.

By the end of the year he was tired of me and wanted someone new, more older, more experienced, more exciting.

I had thought life could no longer continue. I will now find out what a broken heart must feel like. Why? Something so wonderful so beautiful could be over as soon as it began...

A girls first love will never be the same....
